Possibility for a Cheyenne Community Park

During the Cheyenne Owner's Association meeting held on February 28th, Hew Hesterman, a senior parks planner with the Vacaville Parks and Recreation Department, informed the membership about a project that the City of Vacaville is pursuing to build a trailhead at the entrance to Caligiuri Preserve on McMurtry Lane (pictured below).

In addition, with Cheyenne Owner's Association support and funding, there is a possibility of building an approximately 3-acre neighborhood park within the Caligiuri Preserve. With sufficient community interest in the park, the next steps would be to propose the addition of a neighborhood park with the trailhead project to the Vacaville Planning Commission for consideration.
